Becoming Jane

Watched.

Jane Austen: Could I really have this?
Tom Lefroy: What, precisely?
Jane Austen: You.
Tom Lefroy: Me, how?
Jane Austen: This life with you.
Tom Lefroy: Yes.

Tom Lefroy: I am yours, heart and soul. Much good that is.
Jane Austen: Let me decide that.

Jane Austen: His heart will stop at the sight of you, or he doesn't deserve to live. And, yes, I am aware of the contradiction embodied in that sentence.

And melted.

Ready for some tennis?

I took my first tennis class today.
This sport is definitely meant for May and Aaron...
Sara and her brother were doing great too..
As for me, well, it went something like this...

Not that bad la... but you get what I mean...
I couldn't even hold the racquet properly at first (since I couldn't decide which hand is better at serving) Finally the coach said I was doing okay, I think by "okay" he meant I could actually hit the ball for once. At last.

Cry With Us...?!

Crying is generally a passive activity where you feel sad or sorry for yourself. If you are turning on the waterworks, there isn’t much you can do for others. So such a word should not be used when you need a more proactive stance.

Example.
Someone, thought that “Cry With Us” would be the perfect name for music project to help starving children of North Korea. The intention is good, but the name…not very ambitious. Cry With Us doesn't sound so good for advertising but whatever.. at least they are doing something to help the starving children. In the end they are helping someone who is in need…. And that is all that matters. I just think that the name doesn't make sense.

Wonder Girls, Jewelry, SG Wannabe, Isu, KCM are among the 40 celebrities that are involved in the Cry With Us project.

Here's hoping that they actually feed the children, not just cry with them.

Overcooked?

Went back to Kluang during the weekend for a family gathering. And it seems like everyone was talking about the political drama that has been going on. Espsecially my papa. He got so excited analyzing the whole story to me until my mom had to stop him halfway to let me finish my food first. So he changed his target to my uncles and aunties. Heheh. XD

Same thing happened when I was doing some blog hopping. Netizens cannot get enough of this issue too. I got a kick reading blogs about Malaysian politics, tons of blogs. It's weird how things are working out in the political scene in the country and I find the actions of the people involved getting lamer. There are a lot of these problems that can be solved, but with the credibility of the government, judiciary, police and media in question, facts and evidence no longer matter. Political history is in the making, but I'm not sure whether it's for good or for bad. I certainly hope and pray that it is the former.

Too much bickering, too little performance?

Sleep like you're dead.

um yeah.

I woke up this morning at 1:00 PM. 1 freaking o’clock!!
This is a record for me, and I can’t decide if I am totally disgusted or a little pleased that I beat my personal best. T.T
But I do feel like I wasted alot of valuable daylight which I am making up for now by sitting in the sun and blogging nice, I know.
I wish I knew what time I went to sleep last night, see I was watching shows, and I just wanted to know what happened, so I skipped a large portion but still it moved really slow and it was long.
I usually go to sleep at around 1. If I were just guessing the time I fell asleep it would be five.
Still feeling restless. I think it's because of the yoga class I had yesterday. It really stretched me waaaaay beyond the normal stretching. And the yoga room is like sauna. IT WAS REALLY SO SHIOK! I never knew yoga could be that hot and perspiring. The exercise was more vigorous than usual, apart from sweating heavily, I almost lost my breath at one point. O.O

Obviously this is a pointless post. oh well.

Who's Wanted?

Went to see Wanted today.
The movie is based on a comic book series (that I have never heard of) and stars Angelina Jolie, James McAvoy, and Morgan Freeman.

Great special effects, freaking crazy action sequences and some of the cool gun battles. XD
Sometimes I could hardly follow what was happening at any particular moment because of the hyper-stylised action sequences. Only when they are done fighting then I went "Huh?! What just happened?! Finished fighting liao meh?" =_=

The movie is so intense. It starts with a guy running so fast that his wake is blowing paintings off the walls as he runs by them. Then the guy jumps through a don't-know-how-many-th story window about 100 feet onto the roof of a neighboring skyscraper. And the movie gets more intense after that.

We were like Oohh and Aaahh-ing throughout the movie, mainly because, it is BREATHTAKINGLY v.i.o.l.e.n.t in some scenes. Seriously. I felt like telling the guy to clean up his face first before continue fighting. The blooooood. 0____0 And the cartoon-like hail of bullets and explosions. Like Whooaaaa.

I think people watch the movie for the action, but enjoy it more because of James McAvoy :D

I've never seen him acted before, but he's cute. :D

:::::-It was nice meeting you Rachel. :DDDD-:::::
